As of 2024 and looking towards the future, SUDOP CIT’s strategy of building a group without time pressure and with no intention to sell is proving successful. Leadership Transition and Strategic Shift
Despite challenges from a tragic event in 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 saw Jiří Živnůstka assume the role of CEO, continuing to build SUDOP CIT with full shareholder confidence. The company developed a new strategy focusing on IT security and infrastructure. Michal Štastný joined the team, taking charge of acquisitions, further strengthening the company’s growth capabilities.

Expansion and Strategic Vision
SUDOP CIT continued its expansion through acquisitions, including ORBIT, and established new subsidiaries like CITAS. They also formed a joint venture called GMtech. Importantly, the company publicly announced its ambition to become a leading IT group in Central and Eastern Europe, capable of securing and delivering major contracts for both private and public sectors

2018
Establishment and Initial Growth
The year 2018 saw the official establishment of the SUDOP CIT group in January. Two former IT managers, Jan Kout and Jiří Živnůstka, spearheaded the initiative to build an IT group from scratch. This year marked their first acquisition, LinkSoft, and the establishment of their first subsidiary, BIM Consulting, setting the foundation for future growth.

Foundation and Diversification
SUDOP, originally a design and engineering group, made a strategic decision to diversify into the IT sector. The new IT division was established as an independent entity with the potential to lead digitization efforts across the entire group, marking the beginning of a significant transformation.
